Great video. If you look at the numbers as far as public defender case load and private bar contracts, Wisconsin isn’t too far off from the New Orleans public defender that was criticized in the video. The Wisconsin SPD should use the video to lobby for a much lower caseload per public defender. After all, how many cases can a lawyer really take to trial when he/she has to take on 200-plus felonies per year?
